Our plans are final! Thank-you for all your help!
Comments (7)Congrats! It looks great. I was at this stage when I was 7/8 months pregnant. The baby is almost 3 months now and our basement walls go up this week. She was definitely a good distraction through the last tedious loan and permitting approvals. Hopefully it will be the same for you!...See MoreThank you for all your help!
Comments (2)Looks fantastic...and with nice, straight sides, but not the tight corners people complain are difficult to clean. Enjoy!...See MoreThanks for all of your help! Finished Kitchen Pics
Comments (47)Hi Again, CEFreeman - yes, the white tall cabinets are pantries. I love them - especially all of the pull out - shelving. The cabinet closest to the far wall is a broom closet which is also great to have in the kitchen. romy718 - yes - good eyes! The crackled tiles are beveled. Skyangel23 - So, I'm not sure if this is technically a filler - but the cabinet base is a bit wider at the corners to allow for the cabinets and drawers to open successfully. Don't think they are quite 3 inches and I think the way that my Cabinet company designed and installed (I know it wasn't easy) the additional spacing is really not noticeable. Everything opens easily, obviously drawers and cabinets need to be closed before the adjacent cabinet can be opened but I have not found it to be an issue at all and I appreciate how well the awkward space was used....See MoreBig reveal (pics): Took all your advice...how did I do?!?
Comments (80)If you are ok with the tv in the corner there, it is fine. If you don’t want the tv showing all the time, you could use a tv lift cabinet. They can be pricey; but since you are open to custom modifications, you could get an inexpensive cabinet/stand and have it customized with a lift mechanism. This way, when you are entertaining and don’t want the tv, you could just put a floral arrangement or even a lamp on that cabinet adjacent to love seat. And then if tv becomes a part of the equation, you can just lift it up. This mechanism is motorized: https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/progressive-automations-hidden-pop-up-tv-lift-388-inch-black-motorized-articulatingextending-arm-desktop-mount-33-62-screens-holds-up-to-135-lbs-bogr1005.html...See Morelferg92
