Thanks. I did move, so temps and light are not exactly same. I have moved twice before with this plant, but this last move was a little more drastic. Have tried to re-create previous conditions. It was heat stressed this summer, but I thought not an issue because was dormant anyway. I didn't fertilize when I began to water more frequently to get it going this fall--never have fertilized, just water, because I read fertilizing inhibits blooms (??). Thanks.

Do you remove the tubers from the soil to let them dry out? Have you ever divided them? If you literally meant that you have never fertilized, ever, then that is likely the problem. It takes a lot of energy for a plant to produce a big show of flowers for us and those resources have to be replaced, especially when the plant is growing in a non-nutritive potting medium.

I have never removed the tubers, I just left the pot alone in a (relatively) cool place away from sunlight in summer during dormancy, watering infrequently. There would sometimes be a few residual leaves during this time. Then in fall I would start watering more frequently and put the pot in a sunnier place. New leaves would grow followed shortly by blooms. I've done this for 5 years and have gotten beautiful blooms each year, as in the bottom picture. This year, it's all leaves, no blooms so far. I had read that fertilizing stunts blooming, so that's why I never fertilized. If I should fertilize, would you know when and what kind and how much? Should I do it now? Thank you.

i would use any general water soluble fert.. at 50% recommended application ... maybe once a month ...

your media could be worn out.. either in the sense of water management.. or lack of fert ...

just dont try to love it to death with excessive fert ... frankly.. the plant looks fine ...

i think its the move ... you and it moved house.. if i understand, right ...... somehow that interrupted it .... but again.. it looks ok ... so all you can do.. is give it some time ...

report back when it blooms ... lack or delay of flowering.. is not that big a deal ...

It did dry out more than usual when I moved this summer, and it was a very hot summer. I thought I'd killed it, but managed to coax a new leaf, and now it has a lot of leaves. will add some dilute fert as suggested and wait. It's the only plant I brought with me on this move so hoping it blooms again. will report back. thanks!

I think that cooler temperatures are one of the things which trigger flowering. Is the new place warmer, or maybe it's been a warm start to the winter?

I was wondering if that was the case--cooler temps triggering blooms. Yes, my new place is a lot warmer (AZ)! and it's been unseasonably warm this fall here. It suddenly got cooler just this week and should stay cooler now, so maybe that will help. thanks.

Btw, for the edification of the masses, cyclamen do not normally need division, though repotting may indeed help occassionally. They do not multiply. They just get bigger.

Just want to post a follow up to the posts above about my cyclamen plant not blooming. As a reminder, i got this plant nearly 7 years ago and it has reliably bloomed each fall through the winter every year with nothing more than watering and sunlight during bloom time, and then putting it aside in a darker place with less watering during the dormant summer when most of the leaves die off-- all the while in the same pot. My concern was that after moving to Arizona this summer, when I started watering more frequently in the fall, it produced leaves but no blooms through the fall/winter. I followed the advice to water with dilute fertilizer and be patient, as the plant looked healthy. It continued to be healthy and grow new leaves all winter, but no blooms. But just this week, blooms at last! Not the full big flowers it normally produces, but blooms nonetheless. Thank you for all your comments and advice!

I have the same problem i bought quite a few new cyclamens 2 years ago they were beautiful I have the same problem each winter full of leaves but no flowers! i

l'll try the above for next year and see if i too can produce flowers! fingers crossed thanks
