They are placed around the yard in different spots but all with similar conditions. ==>>> you cant make that presumption .... it looks like frost/freeze damage.. and micro climates can vary within feet of each other .... if it bugs you.. just trace down and snip off the offenders.. i would surely not recommend any chemical intervention ... the other side of the coin is that though mother nature can be erratic.. the odds of disease or bug affecting ONLY one .. is very high odds ... ken

try looking at night ... if you cant ID the pest ... then you cant treat for it ... a pic might get you an ID ... all that said.. its a V... it could probably be eaten bare.. and still survive.. dont go all chicken little on worrying about it ... quest for knowledge GOOD ... worry BAD .... post a pic .. ken

The fruits on my Mohawk have always ripened to black, that is normal. The wilting most likely is because, even though you are watering, the plant is not getting the moisture it needs, or maybe the soil is too saturated and the roots cannot get the air they also need. Too much soil moisture causes plants to behave in a manner that looks similar to not enough water.

Actually, the above diagram is incorrect :-) The root flare - that area where the trunk widens into the root system - should be at the existing soil surface level or slightly higher. Not buried several inchs below the soil surface, as the diagram illustrates. There are some other issues that should be considered as well so digging and replanting correctly is highly encouraged.
