I just heard from Kathy-Lees son, he gave her my contact info, she said she would reach out to me. I sooooo hope so, but nuttin yet. Comments (4)Thanks for the reply, I still got the notification after all this time. I never did get my sofa reupholstered but I guess this is a good reminder to get it done. Comments (19)nicholsworth - yes, I'm pretty sure it is the same plant... I have three planted together in a triangular grouping to fill in an area.... It was a couple of years ago that I separated the other sport (Blue Maui), but I think it was the same plant. Well, at that time I potted it and it did beautifully, made it through the winter... next summer I planted it in the ground and it didn't make it through the next winter. But that may have been for any number of reasons. So - I will try again. I haven't gone out to separate this new one yet either... its been too busy around here so far... but I will eventually....See MoreWhatever happened to Bobby, vacuumfreak?
Comments (7)Here are some of his last posts on the Cooking Forum. He was very active on the quilting forum, but I seldom visited that forum, since I do not quilt, but that forum is linked to the sewing forum, and I do visit that regularly. Bobby was good personal friends with Scott, who also has not posted recently, although I keep in touch with him through facebook, which I generally visit about once a month. Bobby and Scott met at a vacuum cleaner club convention, and this club is for people who collect vintage vacuum cleaners. When I visited Scott's apartment in Los Angeles, he had at least a dozen vintage vacuum cleaners in one of the rooms, sort like decorations. Scott used to live in Minneapolis but moved to L.A. to get away from the cold and to be near friends of his in SoCal....See Moregreenclaws UK, Zone 8a
