Only when I redo a room, otherwise I leave it alone. In years gone by I used to rearrange but now I've settled down lol.

Almost never. When I was younger, I did it (as well as room to room). Now the rooms where I live just aren't laid out to be changing the stuff around.

I rearrange my 'office' room sometimes. Since I have such a small house, and because of the location of the windows, the other rooms aren't conducive to rearranging unless I change furniture.

But it has taken years to get to this point where I'm pretty happy with all the furniture so I think things will stay the same.

Recently my husband had surgery and the family room has his wheelchair, etc. It also has a basic hospital bed so I had to move the sofa into the living room near where the love seat is. It actually looks better with this arrangement, the hospital bed can be like a daybed/sofa in the family room, I don't intend to move things back where they were and remove the bed. Otherwise there's not much I can do to change the other rooms.

The living room is too small for my furniture that I purchased in the last house. The best arrangement has the love seat in front of the tv with a reclining chair over to the side and the longer couch along the window. The kids had guests and were watching tv so that wasn't practical. I rearrange as the need arises, but I'm not chronic about it.

My furniture is where it needs to be. Really would not work with another arrangement. I rotate accessories, though. I'll have things out for a while, then put them away, and bring out other things.

No, my living and dining room at least are pretty much set. I worked with my SILs decorator to get the large living area with fireplace furnished in a way it looked welcoming, cozy (I hope). A couple of outlets for lamps in the center floor work well the way it is, I don't anticipate changing. I'm a little more flexible with bedrooms and have been considering a furniture rearrangement in one guest room. That room has some recessed glass shelving, with lights, that is limiting furniture placement on one wall....I need to have it taken out, wall repaired to conceal where it was. I have a few framed photos in it, but really don't need it.

Though I haven't done any major rearranging lately, I love to move the furniture around. I am constantly looking at a room and thinking how I could do it differently. I have lots of little tables that I move about and plants to move. Not too long ago I gave away my large glass display curio thing and then got a couple of Ikea bookcases that I could put right against the wall. They aren't very deep and I have all my teapots displayed on them and couldn't be happier. The teapots were crammed in the glass display and I didn't realize how much better they look now. Plus I like pieces that are smaller and can be moved around as I want. I'm not sure what that says about me, but I do love a good furniture rearrangement. :)

I do. A couple times a year usually spring/fall after I shampoo the carpets. I do it for a couple of reasons but mostly because of the carpet and trying to minimize the wear patterns. It's original to the house and still in awesome condition. It's been there for 20 years and it's turquoise in color. 6 cats and a hubby and it still looks very nice.

When we first moved into this house, I was unhappy with the living room and constantly rearranged the furniture. We hired an Interior Designer and I haven't really touched anything since the room was done almost a year ago. The room has a fireplace that is huge and off center that has always bothered me. The Interior Designer suggested large scale art for the wall across from the fireplace, and drapery on a different wall. Everything really helped bring the room to scale with the fireplace, before all that a person saw was a giant floor to ceiling free-standing stacked stone fireplace and everything else looked dwarfed in comparison. Now the art work and floor to ceiling drapery, and chandelier had brought everything together.

No rearranging in my house

No. Once I like an arrangement and it works it stays. I also live with stuff until it wears out or it no longer serves its purpose.

I used to love it but now I'm too old to be hauling and shoving heavy furniture by myself so it more or less stays put.

I don't rearrange furniture unless there's a reason to rearrange I get a layout that does what I want, is practical and efficient and don't like to mess with it. Change for the sake of change is not good. If there's an improvement to be found, I'll rearrange, otherwise, I keep it working best and it stays. Might tweak it as needed. I did need to rearrange some things after surgery but again, more of a tweak and done by need, not compulsiveness.

I used to. My space is limited and you have to leave enough space for walkways etc. I've turn my furniture every which way to ALWAYS end back to the original layout. I went from a full sized sofa and 1 chair to a sectional. I may go back to a sofa and 1 chair next time I get new LR furniture. I'd like a recliner as my 1 chair this time around though.

Have to when we put the Christmas tree up. Then after the tree is down, I leave it that way until about mid February and then move it back.

This year, we'll be in the middle of an addition, so it'll get moved out of the way. Not sure what we'll do for Christmas!

In general, my furniture stays in place. If I'm having a party or something, I might move things around a bit to open up the seating arrangement, but I will put it back the way it was once the party ends. I change out accessories with the seasons.

I like to rearrange furniture every couple of years. It can give a new perspective. But my current house is much smaller than our previous house, so options to rearrange are limited. With the exception of a few minor chairs and a desk, everything else is going to stay put for a good long while because there really is no other practical choice.

We occasionally want a change and rearrange the living room furniture. Window/door placement and a few really large pieces limits the options. We got rid of a sectional because it only fit one way in the room and I got so tired of looking at it that way.

Absolutely no furniture juggling goes on here. At all five homes that we have lived in during our 57 years of wedded bliss, once the furniture was in place on move in day, that is where it stayed. That may have something to due with all that so called "wedded bliss". DH is definitely not into redecorating on a whim. And I am generally happy with keeping things where I want/need them to be at first try. Too, once the wall décor is placed, moving furniture around while trying to accommodate the placements can involve way too much work.

Very rarely. Generally I put things in the first place where I think will work best, so I can't see the point of shifting them. There are minor temporary shifts such as when the Christmas tree goes up, but then it all gets put back afterwards.

I did have a friend years ago I never knew where the furniture was going to be from visit to visit, because she loved rearranging it often. It was an attitude I am not really equipped to understand, much as I'll never really know what it's like to be a different colour or gender.

I love consistency, and I also walk around in the dark. No rearranging unless there is a good reason.

No, I do not....when I built this house, there is a space for everything and everything in its place.....but I do change some colors and accessories according to seasons.

Nope. I have a good friend who redoes her main living space every few months and she enlists my help. It is fun. Back in the day when I fancied myself a future "interior designer" I re-arranged my bedroom quite often. It drove my parents insane. They were sure I was going to tear the carpet or knick things up. Now my spaces don't seem to have options. They have to be the way they are...I have had to rearrange for Christmas trees or parties and never has the newer way been better than what is so it always all goes back once the event is over. I have a major dilemma at present coming my way at Christmas. I inherited an amazing Nativity scene and HAVE TO figure out how to incorporate it. It will entail deleting furniture...ugh I am stymied as to what I will do!!!
