My sister and I got together and we spent roughly 19 hours (38 man hours) to accomplish this: They're addicting to make. lol! They're called Polish stars (google for video instructions). We got much better and faster as we figured out what worked best for each of us.

Another neat light house. Keep on photograping these. It is my understanding that these are disappearing from our landscape and some day in the not too distant future will heve gone the way of country school houses and stores.

IF your worried about the light, then use the flash. Spiders stop moving when you shoot them head on, pose your bug moving them with a stick. They don't want you to notice them..becoming prey themselves(jumping spiders are the exception, always moving). Use a tripod and ISO 100. Ladybugs on the other hand move constantly. I use a flash and they just look shiny. :0) You can shoot through a magnifying glass too.....

More pictures from our local park. This large estate was willed to the Township by a resident that did well. The township has designated Mother Nature as the principle caretaker. I think the Township and Mom Nature are doing a good job. The last pic is of me enjoying my surroundings to the max!
