More pictures from our local park. This large estate was willed to the Township by a resident that did well. The township has designated Mother Nature as the principle caretaker. I think the Township and Mom Nature are doing a good job. The last pic is of me enjoying my surroundings to the max!

I'm posting a day late, but Saturday was the opening day of fox hunting season. They were out riding following the hounds for 3 hours, but didn't see any foxes, but it was a beautiful day and they had a great time anyway. Since I don't ride, I usually only show up at the end for the post-hunt tailgate brunch, and brought a quiche lorraine with mushrooms.

No, I haven't heard the safety argument from my family. My daughter drives late model, high-end cars and thinks the Caprice is a) old, and b) will nickle-and-dime me to death. That doesn't seem likely. My son loves it as much as I do. My other vehicle is a Subaru, which is noted for safety. I'm glad it has that reputation, with air bags galore, but I feel just as safe in the Caprice. I love having all that metal between me and the drunks.

Casey, I love those! Great photos. As you probably know, I've been volunteering as a photographer for FindAGrave for years. In addition to headstones, they also appreciate pictures that show the cemetery. Even if the cemetery has already been photographed, if you can improve on the existing photo with one of your own (I'm sure in many cases you can), uploading yours will give people a choice.

I'm a big seafood fan - we eat tons of it in any form. Lots of sushi including exotic types, most all kinds of ocean fish, shellfish of all kinds (raw and cooked), anchovies and sardines, pickled raw herring, etc., I draw the line at mackerel, I don't like it at all. It's very oily and has an unpleasant taste I can't warm up to. Some like it, maybe you will. If you're not a regular saltwater fish eater, I'll guess you won't like it.
