I haven't shopped yet this week, but on Wednesday at our discount store I fully expect to find a case of 12 containers of Siggi's yogurt for $1.59 (for all 12) and other equally good bargains.

That is a great price on sweet potatoes, Sue. 'Tis the season, eh? I'll have to keep my eye out for them. And you're still getting the 39¢ eggs. I know I'm not going to find those. :-)

Won't be shopping till Thurs or Fri. Our Dollar General canned Libby's vegetables will be 3 for a $1 on those days. DrugMart is having their Libby's country sausage gravy for a $1 a can. I rarely find the bargains you do, Sue.

The 99 Cents Only store, which gets lots of good random name brand closeouts, had Lucini olive oil (normally around $12 a bottle,) so I bought the last 7 bottles on the shelf. Expiration date well enough into next year to use it all.

I just got 2 dozen eggs for 88 cents each, at Safeway . That is a great deal for us. They are 1.59 each without the coupon.

A 74" precast marble windowsill for $9. A floor register $2. A 72" wide Roman shade for $47.

Marble is stone, how can it be precast?

Elmer....they take broken pieces of marble, crush it into powder, mix it with a binder and cast it into a windowsill shape(a slab with a finished rounded edge). I just cut it to length.

I see, you're talking about a manufactured product, like silestone and others. Not true marble.

I got a good one today.

I had $20 Kohls Cash in my wallet that expired today. I thought it might be nice to treat myself to something after I voted. I wound up finding a really nice Van Huesen sweater for DH instead. It was $70 tag price, and on sale for 50% off. Then I got another $10 off for being a rewards member!

After taking off the $20 Kohls cash, the sweater was $5.

Speaking of shopping--I have noticed that the "large" eggs I have been getting in my grocery order look like what we used to call "medium." One I opened yesterday could have qualified as ''small" once upon a time. Have you noticed this?

seniorgal....yes. Dollar Tree has medium eggs for $1 a dozen and I can't tell the difference.

I found a couple more bargains again today. The girls and I went to a different town and this Aldi had, two pound bags of light brown sugar for $.99 a bag. They also had 12 oz. bags of cranberries for $.99 Is anyone else finding some more bargains for this week?
