Comments (8)The gentleman making this post makes me question the validity of the post. If your experience is so broad at this why would you not sharpen the chain or not even know that you can, its no different than a chainsaw (except 2/3 less teeth). A chainsaw needs to be sharpened with a couple of file strokes to keep it performing well. Your statement-I am one unhappy customer. I wonder sometimes if some companies have representatives come to these sites appearing as regular users but are just looking for an opportunity to plug their product-. This is a slip on your part and tells me that you are undermining this product, who do you work? If I'm wrong then get a file and learn how to sharpen a chain. I to don't like people promoting or undermining products. It's clear about the motive of this post, since I have used the same product for 2 years....See MoreLittle Herb kits
Comments (2)Ok, since my family doesnt know much about my hobbies (though they try, which is nice) i have gotten the same chia herb kit 6 times in 3 years. Here is my report: Cilantro does great! multiple plants in one small pot, the leaves are small, but i have had this plant for 2 years, and its growing good inside. I do have to root prune (which is challenging, because they are grown in the little brown painted sponges), and i top prune accordingly. Although not in the kit, rosemary (although varying rates of success for germination) does good too. Chives cannot stand this treatment for more than a little after germination. They fall over and die once they get about 3 in tall. That is really all the herbs i have solid evidence, that happens the same way multiple times...See MoreUnhappy customer
Comments (16)Sorry to hear about your experience. Have you contacted Marty (I think that is his name)? at plant-o-gram? I ordered some trees this winter and unfortunately they came just as a cold front was moving in. It would have been ok if it were shipped direct FL to OK but the carrier went to KS first and I doubt if their facility is heated. The only think that lived was a small branch of of a Longan which is doing OK now but it's only a foot tall and smaller than the diameter of a pencil. Anyway, I contacted Marty and I told him that he had a good reputation on the web and the dead plants were part my fault for ordering in the middle of winter and part his fault for sending them when he did. I suggested that he send me new plants and that I'd pay the shipping. He agreed to that. My lychee did not make it and since I'm a glutton for punishment, I order another one. This time when I got it, I sprayed it with distilled water and wrapped the canopy with a clear trash bag and closed it up next to the cellophane wrapped pot. I left it that way for about two weeks with just indoor lighting. I then slowly started letting some fresh air in over another 2 weeks with more light. And just a few days ago I took the bag off and put it against a north wall. I also loosened the cellophane wrapped pot but keep the newspaper that was on top of the soil. Here is a picture of the Sweetheart Lychee. So far so good. I will probably using this method for all my potted mail order trees. This method comes from tropicalfruithunters.com. I'd give Marty a call. I looked at Pine Island website and they don't actually have a guarantee about condition of plant on arrival either....See MoreFinal Round: French Door KitchenAid vs GE Profile!
Comments (8)We have the GE Profile FD and love it. It was our third new fridge in 6 weeks, as we went through two Bosch SxS models, neither of which would cool. The GE's been great...no issues at all, and because of the previous problems, I keep a fridge thermometer in it all the time...it holds its temp perfectly. We've had it for two months (admittedly, not long) and I'd give it 4.5 stars. DH insisted we had to have water in the door, so that ruled out lots of FD models. My only (small) complaint is the water well that catches drips in the door is quite small, and it sometimes overruns onto the floor when it's full and we swing the door open. But that's a small problem and infrequent. Would definitely buy it again......See Moreomelet
