We are installing hardwood throughout the entire downstairs.The revere pewter is actually through french doors off of both rooms but you can't really see itwell from either room so I am not so worried about that going with the other rooms as much. It is mainly this view I want to flow well. I considered van cortland blue for the formal living room but it might be too dark/bold for me. I tend to be more neutral/conservative when decorating. And yes I love the yarmouth blue but don't think I want it everywhere. It looks perfect in the dining room.

Have you considered a pretty white? That would probably look better with beige furniture. BM Swiss Coffee, White Dove and Chantilly Lace are all nice possibilities.

Do all the furniture pieces and carpet stay in the room? If so, take a look at Bittersweet Stem by Sherwin Williams. What don't you like about the colors you sampled?

SW eider white? if you look on SW site and click details of each color you can find lrv. Each color has a list of similar colors so you may find some that look like what you are thinking around the lrv that you want by looking there if you havent already done that. We have classic gray, white trim and lots of natural light so not too dark in our space. You can also have the paint store mix a paint at 75%, 50% strength etc if you didnt know that. So if you find a color you like but seems just a bit too dark you could try that. Just an idea
