Saturday at retreat.

Today is our last full day. We have to leave by 10 in the morning, but are still working hard. I finished 5 tops and feel accomplished.

Jackie is almost finished with her Turkey Tracks.

Jennifer has finished another bird.

Teresa continued with her winter row quilt.

Jackie, Tim and I went for a walk and the view is wonderful.

You all have been very productive!!! Must be there wasn't any rocking on the porch or a lot of gab fests. :-) Good job everyone!!!

Only 2 more days until we leave for Camp Cheerio! My sewing machine is ready to load into the RV and am still finishing up gathering my projects. I think it is easier to fly since you really have to limit what you bring! :) We head out Saturday morning and will meander south and east so we can arrive on the 9th. When I mapped it out, Tobey asked the crazy question of why are we going to Gastonia, NC??? I said to go to Mary Jo's, of course. He just laughed! Tobey said he would help tote things up and down the steps. We will have WIFI off and on throughout the trip, so I will try to check in! Jen, are you going to send out an email with everyone's cell phone numbers?? See you all soon. Sue

Linda~ We're actually supposed to create something with the hand-dyed fabrics? I just want to make them and fondle them. (Shhhh, don't tell!) OK folks, I have packed way too much! I also went a little food crazy. My car will be full to the brim. But never fear, I will get the homemade 3-layer Italian Cream Cake in the car. Now lets just hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as my cupcakes from last year... I guess if it does, we can always turn it upside down and eat it out of the lid like a salad. :)

Yes there was a bear! We heard a noise out back one night. Jen and I went running to the kitchen to see what it was...we thought it might be the cats out there. I turned on the porch light and a bear came around the corner that weighed at least 300 lbs. I turned to Jen as I was locking the door (it was one that pushed open inward) and said &^%^%$^& its a bear! She ran to get her camera but was too late. Jennifer, Teresa and I ended up seeing it but no picture proof. 2 years at Holston and 2 bear sightings. LOL
