I don't know where the time goes either, Ron, but those are great pictures. My parents and their friends always had a great time together on vacation. They'd rent a house on the Long Island shore, and the fun would commence.

pink_warm_mama_1, over 30 or so years of bird feeding in 3 different states, we have endured plenty of Starlings. This year is the first year that I can say that they haven't worn our patience thin. Don't know what has made the difference, but since their usual spring return to this area in March this year, their appearance at the feeders has been just a few at a time and they are quickly gone for weeks at a time. Usually if we put suet out they seem to come out of the woodwork, but that hasn't even drawn them in this summer. party_music50, that is perfection, and there ain't nothin' wrong with the other works of Mom Nature's art today. Ain't Mom Nature good at what she does!

Your lavender Plectranthus is beautiful susanwv! Those 'Mona's seem to bloom forever. Yours is obviously a very happy plant. Great group of photos again today--cool bridge setting, autumn color [sadly lacking here :( ], and fun shots. This neighborhood cat was not very skilled at tree climbing in the first place, and on this day, was getting doubly insulted by an attacking mockingbird. Poor cat; what a rough morning he was having!

found this plum tree at the lake, while walking, picked all, even though I had to shake the tree to get the rest off. :) that's the size of them strained them after cooking them with the pit in, cause the pit was ssssoooooooo hard to remove in the raw plum cooked this canned the finished product. It is oh so yummy! Now, I wish I had smaller jars on hand... but I will next year. ;)
