Need Help Deciding Exterior Look

Which option look best for the exterior look for my wife and I? The top design is that the windows are offset from the 1st and 2nd floor. The bottom design is showing wall of shutters to hide the offset of the window on the second floor.

How many roof pitches, shapes, heights and details are there? If one has to install shutters in order to hide something on the elevation, that's a good hint that the elevation really isn't a very good design. It's possible to do much better than either of these designs.

Your house is a lovely shape. 🌞 I do hope you don’t paint your garage doors in black though. I think it would dominate the facade against the paler stone and look like a cavernous, gaping mouth. If you would like the garage to be the focus, then black will certainly do it Were you to pull colours from the stone or mortar then the whole look would have a softer impact. Even a darker grey from the same Hue Family as the stone would offer you, a more subtle finish.

thank you! I love the urban blue- it is one of my favorite shades but not sure if I would be that daring on the exterior, see how the photo half the house is white..is it needed with a bold color. i would do it for the front doors for sure. this is what makes me crazy! I have made a few paint color mistakes in my life and this one is too expensive to get wrong! i also like the idea of the white wash brick. plus I was pondering the idea of getting rid of the shutters and putting a wider trim on the windows, if we do vinyl siding. indoors i have always been so decisive and it comes so easy, I don't know what is wrong with me when it comes to the outside choices!

I think your home is very charming! I wouldn't paint the brick but would paint the siding a color that corresponds with the stone. I understand that's easy for me to say since I haven't been looking at your home for 25 years. I would just hate for you to paint over some of the charm of your beautiful home. Okay, I gotta admit that the all-grey color scheme, even on the brick does look nice. It just really changes the style of the home. Hope this helps in your decision-making!

Top, for sure.

And not sure how far you are in the process, but I agree with Millwork... That's an awful lot of roof. :-( I'm assuming the house is more than 2 rooms deep? If you can, please consider reworking it, so that it's 1-2 rooms deep. That way, the roof will be proportional.

If you absolutely can't change it, or my suggestion isn't applicable, then please accept my apologies!

It's a Louisiana Acadian style home with a high roof. The home is designed within the lot dimension to fit our styled. Upstairs we have three bedrooms, media room, and a play room for the kids that comes with a nice beautiful high ceiling.

Care for it or not, Acadian, is an established style over a large swathe of states. The op's one, however, might benefit from a little simplification.
Acadian style home.

Steep sloping roofs are a characteristic of Acadian style homes.

Numerous valleys, dormers and double slope roofs though are problematic when it comes to rain.

The OP's renderings are a far cry from either of these two photos. Elevations are always a bit deceiving since no one ever sees a building as an elevation. We always see it in perspective. We could comment more intelligently if we saw other elevations (better yet a perspective), and the floor plans to get an idea of what's we are really seeing. As it is, the two elevations look very unrefined.
