Bringing citrus plants inside

silarem

I live in an apartment and started
experimenting planting citrus seeds which resulted in a series of beautiful
plants that I know may result in a different type of citrus. Anyways, I did
this just for fun not thinking of getting any fruit. Now that winter is coming,
I want to bring these lovely plants inside. Being on the 8th floor
they have not been in direct contact with the ground but how do I make sure
that there are no eggs or bugs in the soil? Should I use neem oil or soapy
water or any other resource? I’ve never have plants before and I don’t find
specific info for citrus plants. Thanks!
