I took it to mean the concierge was held at gunpoint and took them there under those circumstances. I'd gladly get fired over losing my life. Or, I think, if that is the case, they'll keep their job. Who could fault them for doing it under duress?

As for the rest of the story- I remain very curious and will watch it unfold. Not having security when they are so security/[papparazzi hyper sensitive just does not add up. But we will see I guess.

I''ve heard more than one talk show host say they are financially in trouble, so I think it's a stunt of one kind or another.

I did hear/read that where they were staying was a luxury apartment/suite connected to a super luxury hotel (can't remember don't know the names). That part makes it a little more possible, because lawd knows with the size of their entourages....they need space. They also said she was tweeting or instagraming or whatever pix of herself out at a restaurant highlighting one of the rings. Still makes zero sense that she was entirely alone even if the bodyguard went out with the siblings- like there was no back up person? In my humble opinion, this clan is the reason America's values are going down the tube. They nauseate me looking at pictures which are everywhere. Kim got famous doing a sex tape her pathetic mother marketed. ALL these people do is spend hours at the gym and plastic surgeons and post 1000's of pics of themselves on social media. The only place I am seeing this story break is on GW ;-) I don't follow them, have no interest in anything about the Ks or in watching the circus around them, but don't get all the hate. It would seem to be a poor emotional investment.

I don't hate the K's or feel disgusted by them. I don't get E (or whatever channel their show is on) so have never seen any of their shows. If I did get that channel, I wouldn't be following them, though.

Their former security leader is saying it's an inside job and all planned. The story keeps changing . First 2 men now 5, first she heard them and got out of the bed and was trying to call 911 but it's not 911 in France , then it was they found her in bed and dragged her out of the bed. First they bound her with packing tape then it was zip ties and duct tape , now handcuffs were used. First she was bound feet and hands and taped her mouth and put her down in the bath tub and locked her in the bathroom . Never seen a bathroom that locks from the outside ! And she became houdini and managed to get unbound and crawl out of the tub, not easy to do with your feet taped together , and again houdini like got out of the locked bathroom in record time to go running down the stairs to get her stylist who was in her room and told her they should jump off the balcony ! The stylist instead of calling the police or 112 (not911) no she calls the missing body guard who is in a loud club with the rest of the girls . Never called the police at all . Oh and now they are saying that Kanye actually owns that place they were at . Now the rest of the Kardashians were staying at the hotel they usually stay at , they were not staying with Kim . So now how exactly was one bodyguard going to be able to manage this?

I call BS on it all . Many people have including famous people are saying it's a hoax or publicity stunt. The pictures of Kylie and Kendall "rushing to their sister" they are smiling for the camera and laughing with their boy toys hanging along.

Moonie, I have had CNN on but they are consumed by the election. PBS is not interested ;-) . Thankfully, I have seen no coverage on the Ks or this event other than here. I've never seen their show or even know what channel it is on. I think I did see a picture of her showing a large ring at the supermarket checkout yesterday. That's how I am familiar with them.

It all sounds strange to me. To the K Klan, there is no such thing as bad publicity. It kind of gives me Ryan Lochte vibes. I wouldn't put it past them to pull a stunt for publicity.
