Happy Fall!
Comments (12)Yes, I have cones every year, but they are never mature enough for viable seed....so far. Years ago I used to get starts from the Cunninghamia lanceolata, 'Glauca' by rooting them from cuttings. I have about 15 over 7 meters tall and a few over 20 meters tall. I should try propagating some more this year. Now is the time. Will, how does it feel to be a major conifer enabler? ;-) Mike....watching it rain. I LOVE being retired and not having to work in the rain anymore....See Morenother happy fall surprise
Comments (2)You will notice a lovely fragrance wafting throughout the house. I had this happen with my Peaches and Cream. Last year, I had several of them bloom throughout the season, but this year, if any bud up after Christmas, I will cut off the blooms, to try to save its energy for outdoor blooming. Like kids, we have to train them to shine where we want them to shine. LOL...See MoreHappy Fall and Thanksgiving in Canada
Comments (10)Absolutely wonderful pictures! What a heavenly oasis you have created. Get out your wooly sweater and a pour yourself a glass of scotch ( invite me over) and you're all set. Fantastic, enjoy your autumn. The season of dreaded whiteness will be upon us all too soon....See MoreHappy Fall, Y'All!!!
Comments (13)Kathleen, Are we allowed to ask for recipes on this site? Yum - the stuffed chicken- and will it taste as good served without the beautiful tablescape? How about if I print your picture and use it for "Imagine this" as the table setting? lol Your tables are incredible - and I've only been visiting here for a week. Such inspiration!! This is better then any magazine or TV. Thank you....See Moresherrygirl zone5 N il
