I watched it, but wondered how the photos of the dead teacher were already printed out. Wouldn't the police have taken his camera when they caught him at the scene? I can't resolve that in my mind. Other than that, I liked it. Did you notice that his female partner's husband (who lied to her about why he was late) once played a horrific murderer in a Law & Order episode. He killed his girlfriend, her daughter, and the husband and wife employers of the girlfriend. I'm going to have a hard time getting past that character.

I think we have pretty much established what led to the problem I know you think you have, but I can tell you flat out you are mistaken. First of all normal dominance is rarely the reason behind such serious dog-to-dog aggression. This goes way beyond that. Even a certified behaviorist isn't going to suggest any behavior modification without a clean bill of health from the Vets which will include more than what you have had done. Not your fault jus that the health of the dog that died may have been a huge factor. Anyway a behaviorist will come and see the behavior of each dog to see if the dog dogs has poor socialization, lack of structure, weak nerves, etc. and than see how they inter- react with each other. If you can't afford a behaviorist than please get a hold of this guy at the link supplied below ...explain all that has happened. I think you will find him to be very unbderstanding and helpful. Didn't finish. Scrapped it after watching about half. Took it off of the TiVo schedule for next week. It's almost a signal when they try to grab your attention right off with random sex, Why??? i guess others like to WATCH? I enjoy several shows where they TALK a lot about it but don't find it necessary to be graphic...and I love Big Bag, Mike & Molly and others of the same genre. I sure wish there was some network shows I could watch with my grandkids like we used to do with our own kids.

Well, I'll stick my neck out & be an old poop ;) Recognizing, as mentioned re other new shows, that pilots tend to be overly broad in characterizations, I still found it offensive. In light of all the female body shaming that we've been seeing IRL, maybe I'm more sensitive to that. I have family members who have struggled mightily with weight issues and an athletic teen granddaughter who can eat more than anyone and maintains the physique of a model. I thought the show showed disrespect to both for cheap laughs. The Mom in me has a real problem with the overt sexual banter shown at 8:30 pm. That's a time when high schoolers may be watching with their parents. I cringe at the thought of my SIL in the LR with his 14 yr old DD when the husband character started lusting after his wife's boobs (his term). And when she lifted them up and said something like, "Because of my Spanx, they're part boob, part gut." Yuck, just yuck. I understand parody and satire, but I don't think a lot of kids viewing at this hour do. I found it disturbing when the Mom coached her little daughter - age 5 or 6 yrs.- to lie to slim prospective buyers of the house next door. The purpose was to get a neighbor who was fatter than the Mom so she won't be the fattest mom in the neighborhood (the Mom character often used the word fat to describe herself & others..) That was just sad, IMO, and not funny. I think shows like this one and Speechless, could work if the humor had a lighter touch, like The Middle and blackish, which I find appropriate for family viewing time. I think the lead actress is wonderful. A shame they seem to try to outdo each other for shock value and the shows lose their heart. --- Me, stepping off my soapbox ;)
