If you only have recommendation for men's shirts sans the spandex, that's welcome too.

Recommended method for washing a women's white dress shirt? (Have a Miele, so lots of options. Currently a 3038, soonish to hopefully maybe add a W5065)

Complication: 97% cotton but 3% spandex.

Darn J Crew, of course the label says wash cold, gentle. Pah. These are not the best made shirts but their tailoring is quite good, which is why they are popular: nice fit. Especially since they sell tall sizes, which I need. But the spandex complicates their effective washing.

SO: mine tend to get a very vaguely yellowish around collar far too early in their lifetime. Not makeup. I thought maybe sunscreen, but no, seems to arise regardless. I think we have weird water chemistry--we have a whole house water softener, but still sometimes see iron type staining on the marble sill in the shower where water sits. So...

what's your best routine for a shirt like this that looks clean but over time emerges dingy? Hotter water? Not actually sure what temp the hubs is washing at currently. I'd guess something 'warm'
