What’s a lighter version of SW Zurich White
Comments (10)Hi We had ZW in our kitchen before and I absolutely loved it. When sampling, the samples looked more gray/ blue than my painted walls so I didn’t dare to go with it in case the formula had changed or something else impacted the color on the walls. I went with sw alabaster after sampling too many whites and being exhausted. I would not use it again because it shows up yellow/green in some rooms. I like it best without a lot of sunlight, then it’s not as yellow. But it is ‘light’ enough. For what I was looking for. Best of luck!...See MoreHow should I decorate? what color should I paint?
Comments (48)When I saw the kitchen, I had an immediate different thought than I see here. Is that formica? If so, I would replace it with new formica in a different color... This is not a major job, evidently. It comes with the backsplash and everything. You just order the length you need. Grey (as in one of the photos upthread)? Navy? Black? Comments (11)i definitely think for cabinets, slab doors in a beautiful wood or lacquered in a deep color for a high shine will be more popular than they are now. I’d really like to see unusual and individual kitchen designs that have a quality of timelessness because they are so personal....See MoreChristmas Baking: Decorating version
Comments (16)Although it didn't have all the bells and whistles (literally) it sounds very nice Annie. Particularly about watching Elery's son on Christmas Eve online. Our church streamed the service Wed., I think so that everyone involved could be home on Christmas Eve. It wasn't quite the same, but it was still nice. What I especially like is if I'm feeling in need of spiritual uplift, I can attend services through streaming almost any time, at several of the denominational congregations of ours, or some of my friends. For example I attended a "Virtual Christmas Vespers" at a friend's YMCA camp in NH and the Advent sermons of my pastor friend in Philly. I'd like to figure out how to stream them through our TV. It's possible but we haven't figured it out yet. The laptop doesn't quite cut it for some things. But I can watch Sunday church on my phone propped up on the counter while I do dishes or eat breakfast or stream compline in bed before lights out, so there are some advantages of portability....See More- 9 years ago
