2 young Calamondins in one pot, one with yellow leaves

These are the first citrus tree I've started from seeds. About 8 1/2 months ago they sprouted OUTSIDE in DECEMBER, because it was a freaky warm December here in NC last year.

Each container has 2 trees in them because that's what popped up from the seeds. The ones on the right are 14 inches high already (from soil line). I didn't think of separating the trees at the time they sprouted, because I didn't know better (novice growing from seeds).

One of the trees in the right container has a few yellow leaves on the bottom of the trunk. It seems ok otherwise, just the first bottom leaves are yellow. The other tree in the same container has no yellowing and is bigger and a bit healthier looking. They both get the same treatment and I think I have been fertilizing them correctly.

Should I seperate these trees? Is it too late to separate them? I call them my Christmas Calamondins because of when they popped up.
