Anyone order from Breck's Bulbs before?
Comments (32)I rarely write comment online. But, please DO NOT order from this company. I placed an order about a month ago. 5 items came. I received an email that 2 items are in backordered, still haven't received them. They keep changing the date. Now, I am chasing back for an item that I placed, but the customer service said I had never placed the item, instead they told me I placed something else which is out of stock. I told them I never placed that item, and I have the original order which was sent to my email. No supervisor available. Everytime I called, I am talked on the phone for an hour and a simple problem is not sloved. All I need is to have money ($15.98) back to my creditcard for the items out of stock. Not asking for more. Very very frustrated!!!...See MoreCanada East spring order from David Liddle
Comments (5)Xuan, He doesn't have a website, he has a catalog. I *think* you can place your own order, but it will cost you tons of money. The reason we go in on group orders is to save money (but obviously I think you'd have a hard time finding enough people to go in on an order where you live!). The costs include the cost of each cutting you order, shipping from Australia to you, and then the phytosanitary certificate (I *think* that last year's group order to the U.S. was over 100 dollars for just shipping and phyto, but I'm not sure if that cost depends on amount of cuttings ordered or if it's a straight fee...I do know that's the reason we do the group order - to split that fee). That said, David Liddle's cuttings are phenomenal. If you'd like to inquire with him, just email me and I'll forward you his catalog. Gabi...See MoreAnyone ordered the SteakHouse Hybrid from Burpee?
Comments (47)I have been growing these for at least 5 years. They are the best of the best! They are large, tasty, not giant cores like big tomatoes sometimes have and are not cat faced. They make lots of tomatoes and are my favorite in the garden. Problem is that if I want them, I have to start them myself or pay unaffordable, huge prices at Burpee. Plants are not available at your local nursery. I'm 70 years old and I really don't have the energy to keep starting them like that. I will have to revert back to Big Beef so I can buy plants locally and at a reasonable price....See MoreAnyone order med.'s on-line?
Comments (8)I've never heard that before. My vet has no problem with us ordering our meds online, and recommended the place that we order from (vetcentric.com). I think you do have to be careful that the place that you're buying from is legit. I HAVE heard of online places that tout that you don't need a prescription to buy from them, so who knows what's going on with that kind of situation? They may be doing all kinds of shady things. I just did a little research -- it looks like there may be reasons specifically for your vet being worried about the heartworm medication, though: http://www.fda.gov/fdac/features/2006/606_pets.html It still sounds to me, though, that if your dog has had the heartworm test recently, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to buy the meds online. It's odd....See More- 9 years agolast modified: 9 years ago
