5-1-1 mix pine bark particle size

I have found some online sources in Germany for pine bark. I've used reptibark until now but it gets expensive very quickly. Anyways, I can choose between 7-15mm (0.28"-0.6") and 0-7mm (0"-0.28") particle size, what should I go for? I can get 70l (19gal) for 13€ (14.50$) including shipping.

The 10-20mm reptibark was too large, and I feel like the 0-10mm reptibark is a bit water retentive (?) but maybe I should have used less peat/coir.

I have used 4-8mm seramis (0.16"-0.31") instead of perlite, is that fine? I can get 0-6mm (0"-0.24") and 2-6mm (0.08"-0.24").

Thanks!
