I just received an order from Durham Botanicals last week. Great looking plants and he has several varieties. You'll have to tell him what you want and he can verify if he has it. Hello Laura How was the storm? Hopefully not so bad. Here in CA they almost don't exist lol. Hopfuly no damage to your garden i know plumerias don't like wind. Btw I too have two verigated plumerias that I purchased at the avocado festival this year at La Habra Heights here in CA from a guy that brought cuttings from his trip to Thailand and grafted them here they seem to be doing great. I also bought 4 more plumerias from him that I can't wait to see blooms so far one of the dark pinks I got bloomed and it was great and Kimo is about to bloom. I read somewhere that the verigated variety don't bloom that often? Any ways back to Adeniums I wanted to ask a big favor if your willing. To please ask your friend if she did buy some double flowering adeniums from anyamanee if they did flower double not just single that's what I'm most interested on. I know that the color just depends on the growing conditions but I want to know if she did buy doubles if they all did bloom double. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks

As I look at the photo, it shows the 'Power of eBay and Craigslist'. :-) Those two tole trays are eBay finds, as is the Mary Carol Garrity lamp that I have had for years and just hauled out yesterday. The mirror and Empire bureau are from Craigslist, as is the antique brass candle wick cutter. The Seth Thomas antique clock (Empire No.1 Extra, circa 1908) is from my wonderful late ex-in-laws, who had it in moving boxes in the basement for years in Freeport, ME. The books were my husbands, and the little metal box from England with glittering acorns was a gift from a friend. The tassel was on clearance at Joann Fabric years ago! If I don't make something myself, I have been very fortunate to find many great pieces at 'thrifty' prices, or free, like my CL mirror in my other post.

Thank you, peren.all. I wasn't sure the leaves quite matched R. acris but I know leaves often change with age so you can't always expect that photos will exactly represent what you have. Thank you, jekeesl (south-central Arkansas). I don't think there's any doubt that you are right about plant 2 being a sedge. I promptly went to a wild plant site and searched through a list of--I don't know, maybe 10 million--species of sedge that grow in Michigan and narrowed it down to two that grow in Lenawee County that, to me, look similar: Carex hystericina and Carex frankii. C. typhina wasn't said to grow in this county but it does grow in the county next door and it looks very similar.
