Thankyou everyone for your input, I had wondered if especially the morning glories (the Japanese would follow with the same requirements) would be a tender item to deal with, since they grow very well on the coast with their humidity as well. So I won't be disappointed if they don't get very high. I will start them in the house, then transplant them to a container outside. So pleased to hear the gazania can do very well if set in the right place. March 15 will be a good time, I should receive them by that time. And Crazy Gardener I will keep that name in mind as type to plant. Thankyou for mentioning it. This has really helped me tremendously Thankyou so much. Diana

This thread resurfaced because of a spammer, but I have to say it was a nice stroll down memory lane - so many old poster names that I haven't seen in a long time, but remembered instantly. I can add, we did know a young couple ( at the time- probably more like 35 plus years ago ) who won either 11 million or half ( I was never sure as ther were 2 winning tickets) , which was probably like winning 30 million today. Anyway, they bought a very nice new home in our development, in a very desirable town. They never were overboard and seemed to be very happy,. In the time we were there (close to 30 years) they had 3 kids, a few dogs, and seemed to live a very happy non crazy indulgent life. I do recall though that they each had siblings who seemed to feel a bit entitled to the $ but no crazy drama. Oops meant to add, neither one worked,from their early 30 s on.

I had a very mild case of shingles in 2003. Mine was on left side of lower abdomen, and it started with a pain along the edge of my ribcage from bottom front and traveling along the line of my ribcage. I thought I had pulled a muscle lifting on my young grandson. Exactly a week after the pain started, I noticed a patch of small blister like bumps in a cluster. I suspected shingles and went to the Dr. that day. She gave me an oral medicine to take to stop the spread, and it worked like a charm. After the "break out" of the blisters, the pain subsided and I wasn't bothered much after that. As I said though, mine was a very mild case, and I think going on to the Dr. helped it to be a mild case. Don't feel silly going to the Dr., it's your body and you know when something isn't "right". You said your daughter has had 'all the tests and nothing unusual has come up.' Do you know if blood work was done as well? My 24 year old niece has had several seizures, and after ruling out Epilepsy or a brain tumor, they discovered she sometimes has extremely low blood sugar. She now eats little bits throughout the day, rather than 3 main meals and has not had a seizure in about 5 years. Hopefully they will solve your DD's episodes and I wish her well.
