Question about spray foam on vent boots?

Our vent boots are not insulated very well and the wood around the penetration is very damp from them sweating. After I replace the soaked flex pipes and get everything dry, I need to re-insulate the boots.

I've seen and read about spray foams and was wondering if anyone has done this before? How well does it insulate and how long does it last? I'm not worried about the cost, I need it done right.

I'm going to do all 15 of them and you know hard they are to work on. Is this a "no brainer", or is it too good to be true? Any information about the use of it would be appreciated.

I added a photo that's similar to mine.
