I have a few questions I hope you don't mind :) Your bird bath is made of what? How did you make you flower plate? I saw what you did with a spoon but I must have missed what you used for the center of the plastic plate, was it another plate? I love all your totems, neat how you turn a flower vase up side down and put your tea cups on them :) I went to the thrif store looking at things in a whole new way. Thanks bunches ya'll! Blooming in 5...I didn't drill a thing, wasn't real excited about drilling either. I wash really well and then clean with alcohol let dry and use GEII Silicone for glass to glue pieces together, the hangers are Copper Plumbing parts called Bell Hangers found at the local Lowes Hardware (In a Contractors package of 10). I cleaned them with Alcohol as well and let dry before attaching them to the plates. I waited about 4 days before I put any stress on the flowers to be sure the GEII. I use Alcohol when I paint glass as well to be sure I have a clean surface for the glass paint to adhere and cure. ttennis.. My Azaleas are Huge, They are about 50 years old, beautiful Old Fashioned Deep pink huge blooms underneath My white Dogwoods, My MIL Planted them when they built this house. I soooo Love Springtime when they are both in bloom. Here is my GD this spring (Mid April)standing right in front of them where the plate flowers are now located....I only wish they bloomed longer! the actual hedge row is over 7 feet high!!!

Very nice! They look good in your beds. Did you drill or glue your plates? We were in drought here for several years. Made up for it this summer, though, and I'm thankful for that, but I believe it's rained every single day for 3 months. Just been too wet and hot to do much outdoors. Then with all the rain comes all the mosquitos. Getting a touch of cabin fever (even though there's always plenty to do inside, I'm used to being able to play outside more :) but fall is comming, in fact it's here today, isn't it. Anyway... Thanks for sharing, it's fun to see what others are up to.

Oh my gosh, these are great! I hadn't looked at the post all this time, because I thought, plate flowers/halloween ok orange and black plate flowers, hmmm, maybe I'll check it next time, lol, how wrong I was! I love these! I love the one with the zebra leaves stuck out like arms, the face reminds me of a venus flytrap the bugs are trying to escape but it's beconning you closer, come just a little closer.... Love the eyes in the middle of the silk flowers. Love the hollyhock! Love the way you have them grouped together in the planters with the dead flowers around them. Very original and fun! btw, in the first picture what are the (blue and white-or maybe they're purple and silver) fan shaped things on the left over by the window?
