Help with sump pump drainage

hyacinth08

Our house was built two years ago, and the sump pump discharge runs to an air gap. As you can see from the photo, as things have settled, the drainage line from the house and the one leading the water away from the house are no longer aligned, and much of the water draining from the sump pump now just splashes onto the ground.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm not too familiar with pvc, most of my use of it has been in non-plumbing contexts, but it looks like this might be schedule 40 pvc? The ground pipe has an inner dimension of about 3" and an outer dimension of about 3.5", and the pipe running from the house has an inner dimension of about 1.5" and an outer dimension of about 1.8-1.9". Can I attach some kind of reducer coupling to the ground pipe to make the opening wider and catch more of the water come from the discharge line? Thanks!
