Golden Hosta Identification

This hosta was planted 1-2 years ago. It was a gorgeous golden leaved variety until the deer ate it. The new leaves seem greener.

I have a couple pictures of it from before it was eaten but I wasn't actually taking a picture of it, so they aren't as clear as I'd like. It's the smaller hosta in these two photos. The other hosta was said to be guacamole.

Also, shortly after it was eaten the first time. I got a few pictures of it getting ready to bloom. Sadly, the deer ate those blooms that very night so I have no better pictures.

Wow that was very hungry deer. I have deer visits regularly, but never that much damage. We're the flowers scented?

Ah, yes. My house backs up to a nature park and we have LOTS of deer :(

I also found these two photos of the golden hosta (on right) from July 26, 2014.

Around the beginning of July this year (so before it even had buds) I found it with all of the leaves eaten (except for one leaf half-eaten...?). I'm not sure if it was fragrant when it bloomed. It barely started blooming and then the blooms were eaten :(
I think it might be safer in a different location so perhaps it'll get better once I move it closer to the house.

For the most part I agree with the guesses, but not all of them. Here are my answers: #1 - definitely Golden Scepter #3 - ? #4 - Am I the only one that thinks this might be Sum and Substance? #5 - I don't think this is Blue Angel as I don't see the distinct point to the leaves that Blue Angel always has. Personally I think this one is Bressingham Blue or some other sieboldiana seedling. #6 - definitely Frances Williams #7 - I agree with fortunei aureomarginata #9 - Halcyon #10 - another fortunei aureomarginata #11 - maybe grand Tiara, or a really special golden tiara. Would depend on the leaf thickness - thin is golden, thick is grand. #12 - could be Fire and Ice, could be Loyalist #13 - I don't think it is Gold Standard or Paul's Glory. There is some spring desiccation burn, so that makes me think it is more likely a yellow centered sieboldiana like Borwick Beauty, DuPage Delight, or Super Nova or... #14 - definitely Stained Glass #15 - definitely June #16 - definitely Blue Mouse Ears #17 - maybe Last Dance, maybe Summer Breeze #18 - definitely Fragrant Bouquet #19 - again, some kind of sieboldiana but definitely NOT Blue Angel. Looks a lot like Elegans though. #20 - it does look like August Moon

Looks like it's got a green margin. Any chance it's Paul's Glory?

I'm not super familiar with Paul's Glory but all the pictures I've seen show it with much wider green margins than this one shows.

August moon was a guess that I had as well (especially because the leaf shape is so similar) but I read that it has white flowers instead of lavender.

I might have to wait until it grows out a little more. I appreciate you guys trying though xD

You may be right. Googling gold standard is looking very good to me. I will update when this guy leafs out a bit more again.
