What do you do with cucumbers?

My son planted too many cucumber seeds, and the seedlings grew so beautifully we hated to discard any of them. So he planted a slew of cucumbers in two vegetable gardens, and I planted four in my "secret garden" on the terrace. They are starting to bear, and we will soon be overrun with cukes!

We'll make some pickles for sure, and I'm happy to eat raw cucumbers every day in salads or by themselves. Plus I've started adding them to the vegetables I juice. But I'm sure you creative cooks will have some good ideas for us.

I wouldn't mind setting up a cucumber stand in my front yard to sell them cheap--or give them away--but most of the people on my road have their own vegetable gardens. I've been distributing kale to my friends at the library, so I suppose cukes are next. :-)
