What would you do - cucumber seedlings keep flowering

I started some seedlings quite a while ago in a little seeling tray. Well, a few weeks ago two of them started to flower (they only had a few real leaves at this point). I think they didn't like their small starter tray and got stressed out.

At that point I plucked off their flowers and planted them outside. Last week I found a couple more flowers on them, so I pulled off the flowers again.

I know its been cold, but these seedlings haven't grown much more since I put them outdoors. Are they going to keep trying to produce fruit instead of getting to a decent size first? Should I pull them up and plant something else in their place (I have other seelings, or I could even sow cucumbers seeds there right now).

Thanks,

Rebecca
