Installing drip irrigation for my landscaping, emitter flow rate help?

Hello,

I am going to install a drip irrigation system for my landscaping, which I have chosen to be drought and sun tolerant. However, water restrictions keep it so my sprinkler can only be run once a week. I have decided to install drip irrigation to help supplement this.

Drip irrigators have emitters with different flow rates of .5 gal/hour, 1 gal/hr, 2 gal/hr, and 4 gal/hr. for most of my plants I have thought that I should go with 1 gal/hr but thought I should ask those more experienced than me (my first summer with a landscaped yard) for their opinion.

Below are my plants, some of these I may not even run a line to because they are doing fine. These are the ones that need help:

Black and Blue sage

Lambs ear

Goldstrum Rudbeckia

Autumn Sage

Succulents (this may just be the sun drying them out, dont think drip irrigation will even help)

Coral Autumn Sage

Pink Skullcap

Bulbine

Red Oak (this is the only one I was thinking of using a 2gal/hr)

Society Garlic

Butterfly Iris

New Gold Lantana

Gaura

I also have some others which seem totally fine but I'll mention them anyways:

Mystic Spires

Anacacho Orchid Tree

Hot lips salvia
