Could someone tell me a little about 'thyme'? Thanks
Comments (22)I didn't even know the Thyme I grew last year was perennial in my zone. Pulled most of it in Fall clean up of frosted herbs but then found it standing tall and pround in one container early this Spring. The packet of seeds I bought showed a picture of Thyme with little white flowers on it. Got it because it's supposedly good for attracting pollinators. What do I know? Sowed lots of it this year to tuck in among regular plants. Love that song too. :)...See MoreAnyone know this little fella?
Comments (3)Crescent it is! I'm really seeing a variety of butterflies this year whereas years past I saw nothing. Guess the words getting out that I have nectar plants *lol*. I'm sure the neighbors think I'm nuts. When ever I see a butterfly I run in the house to get the camera and run around the yard. Thank you Miss Sherry :-) Edna...See MoreCan someone help me identify these little cacti?
Comments (6)Let me start of with, i hate those fake straw flower ... you can leave it on if you want, but i would take it off I have no idea what the one in the back is. The one with the red "flower" looks like some kind of cereus (very broad, i know) and the one in the front with the pink looks like parodia scopa. Most cacti get very large . Also your soil looks like it could use ALOT more drainage. Add like 50% more inorganic materials such as perlite or pumice....See MoreCan Someone Please Tell Me What This Is....Its Driving Me Crazy

The danger was a significantly increased risk of liver cancer. I think the show I watched was called the Chemical Revolution. There was also something in maybe the hair dye?? that caused a surprisingly high rate of bladder cancer in hairdressers. (Obviously this is not a commonly occurring cancer.) Here is a link that might be useful: PBS link about Hair Spray Propellant...See MoreR
