We have had the Jack D006 model for the last few months. We got the brushed nickel one and are pleased with the look and quality. Our electrician hard wired ours and put it on a timer. I think hardwiring it voids the warranty, But we wanted it done. It is just DH and I here most of the time. Unfortunately, due to a family member from out of town being here in hospital for the last month, I have given my sister that bathroom while she is staying here to tend to her ill hubby. So we have barely used It and had 2 bath towels on the go yet

I did use it for a couple weeks before we got guests. We were very limited in space and chose the D006 as the largest one that would fit. We liked the swivel aspect for access and ease of hanging towels on it compared to many that have multiple bars but looked like a chore just to get a thick bath towel hung up. I think once we get permanently moved into our new bath, it will be the one having the bath or shower just arranging their towel to get most of the heat from the bars and then hanging the other up after they are done. Rather than leaving both on when one person is showering. I like a bath at night and DH showers so this works for us.

The bars actually start getting warm within about 5 mins and are quite hot in 10. Since it is also not winter, I am not feeling the real thrill of a heated towel. Unless you leave it on for 20 mins. before you start your shower, you will likely only feel heat on one side of the towel. But that suits me. The towel isn't cold at least. And it is great for hanging wet hair towels and facecloths on and having them dry faster. Other higher wattage ones maybe work better, but I can't really see how because this model gets hot enough that if it was any hotter, it would hurt to touch it.

So I guess to summarize, I can't see 2 towels getting warm at one time as one needs all 6 bars to heat the entire towel. But other than that we like it and it works well. When no-one is using the tub or shower it can hold both bath towels and I also have a face cloth and smaller towel on there as the bars are wide enough for that.

Sounds like my nervousness about using this for two people is on track. I guess if two people are sharing this, then the last person to use it has to position the other person's towel to get the heat so it's ready for the next shower.

Sounds like the smaller versions of this towel warmer would be borderline unusable even for one person.

I guess it depends how much heat you expect over the entire towel. I guess that's why some pics of fancy bathrooms have huge towel warmers covering a large portion of wall. I really don't care for the look of the huge ones. Our bathroom is never cold, even in winter and we weren't even considering a towel warmer at first. We did a gut remodel and got rid of an ugly old pole that had arms sticking out of it to hold towels. We felt with space restrictions , we would still like a swivelling towel holder and they are not easy to find. This one was the answer for size and heats the towels to boot so we are happy with ours. But if you are both rushing off to work in the morning with one into the shower and the other right after, someone won't get a very warm towel.

We don't use bath sheets, but have nice sized bath towels. With one folded in half widthwise and draped over the top bar of the D006, the ends of the towel come just below the bottom bar. And then there is room for small towels and face cloth on the width of the bars. The 2nd bath towel hangs under the top towel on the 3rd bar.
