I looked up info on the "Our Flag" print (not 'The Flag') ...it's a pretty old framed print (lithograph) & I appreciate it even more now w/Mom gone. yes...it was a real good weekend...work & play ...had some of kids/gr'kids home! And, who knows, luvs...we may meet up again one day! That is if Jane ever gets that bus tuned up & rollin'! I'll ever let Dollbaby ride along if Punk will bring TJ! LOL! Comments (18)Oh yeah, we moved everything out of the room about 2 weeks ago then pulled up the carpet, baseboards, dust bunnies, dog & cat hair, etc. and scrubbed the room clean. I've had everything from that room stacked up in the dining room for two weeks. It was a mess, but that's just part of the process. Now I'll start the same process on the sewing room, but taking everything out of there is much more daunting! It really does look like an episode of Hoarders in there because it's my sewing and crafting stuff, leftover stuff from when my mother lived with us, a couple hundred books, and the catch-all for everything non-Florida people would put in their basement. Comments (30)I'm looking at the apparent group of adults seated together in front or under the red umbrella/tent and those standing to its right under the blue one. Groups of adults are rarely members of the same household. Your question to me is fair but in return, what made you think they WERE from the same household? I wasn't there and you were, so I'll defer to what you saw. The explosion of cases in Texas beginning a few weeks after Memorial Day suggests that there were a lot of careless and unsafe public interactions in many places and your photo seemed to show that. Maybe not. If people were generally seen by the authorities to be keeping away and at safe distances from one another, why was it thought to be necessary to close the beaches? No need to answer that, it's a rhetorical question. The topic of the thread is Galveston and so I'm not picking on this part of the country or Texas specifically.
