Hubby and I went to church this morning.. I finished mowing while hubby worked in the garden. Rain was suppose to move in so needed to get it all done. Went and picked up 4 of the grandkids this evening. Mom is at a conference in Denver and dad needs to go to Michigan tomorrow. Will have them until Wednesday night. Oh and the dog, too. Busy week ahead..

My two sons paid me a visit today as a belated Father's Day recognition. We had brunch together.

I stayed home and enjoyed the most welcome rain! That's the first rain we have had since April.

Not a good day for me. Have been dealing with an earache since Sat like I needed another ailment...NOT. Did manage to bathe and eat 2 TV dinners a salad and some fruit today. Used paper plates so cleanup was easy. Spent the rest of the day in bed with a hot compress on my ear...or putting drops in. Told you it wasn't good.

I had earaches as a child. No fun. When one of my kids got them I tried warm olive oil, as recommended by Dr. Robert Mendelsohn. Remarkably effective. You might try it if you haven't already. Best of luck, Audrey!

The older I get the more I appreciate disposable plates and flatware. And no, I don't give a flying function on a few plates going into a landfill. I'd venture a guess that a few disposable diapers do more harm than all the paper plates I'll use in my lifetime. Hope you're feeling better. Relax and rest.

I use paper plates often....

In the rv we are definitely using paper plates. Todayo I spent a lot of time looking at bathroom vanities online. I think we are going with stand alone furniture look vanities for all the bathrooms. Easy and fast. TTonight my wonderful husband is grilling thick bone in pork chops and I have corn on the cob in the microwave. I don't have to cook!

Audrey, I hope you can push and push again. Do whatever you can physically and then try to do a bit more if you're able.

I dislike and avoid using paper/plastic/disposable table items other than at a large group outdoor event when I realize there's no alternative. We don't use them at home and I don't go camping. I gladly do the dish/utensil cleanup with the dishwasher and/or by hand.
