Rainy Wednesday

Much needed rain has interrupted the hybridizing and photography today. The rain came early as the flowers were opening so many of them are pretty beaten up. Since I can't post today's pictures, I'll post a few seedlings I haven't posted before.

This is Chomp X Happy Holidays to You

Chomp X Mitch Lynd

Bob has a love affair with Tet. Spindazzle so we crossed it onto English Lavender. Tet. Spindazzle is a daylily that is in the parentage of many toothy narrow formed daylilies.

This is Laura Lee Harding X Bass Gibson. This is a sibling to the one I posted yesterday. All of the ones that have bloomed so far from that cross have been some shade of red. I wondered where the red came from so I did some research. The grandparent of Laura Lee Harding is a dark red with gold toothy edge called Crown of Thorns.

Forestlake Becky X Horns

Hot Missouri Sun X Horns didn't get any of Horns teeth, but it is a nice shade of coral/orange.

Joan Hood X Tiger by the Tail is a small small but intensely colored.

This is just the first year for Upon This Rock X Randy Stephens. I hope the teeth become more abundant as it matures.

Nancy
