Comments (8)Try http://southerneucs.com "Big O" - the name refers to the shape of the leaves, but it only reaches about 15 feet planted outdoors. I highly recommend Southern Eucs for advice, also - Ed is super knowledgeable and helpful! Comments (0)Dear Gardenwebbers: I recently moved to Portland, Maine (Zone 5b), and I am considering getting an indoor tree. I have a beautiful corner with two windows (one west- and one north-facing) that I think might be a suitable spot; it's Maine, though, and the old house gets a little chilly in the winter (65-60 degrees inside at the lowest). Comments (11)The room has good light but plant will be near heater in winter it's a very dry room, slight draft in winter even though windows are new. it's an old CT home. schefflera is not pet safe. I have a golden that likes to nibble on rocks, plants and twigs outdoors. palm might be an option....See MoreLooking for an indoor tree .. full sun, dry air
Comments (4)Hi, Do you mean some sort of measurement? I'm not sure I know that: DH says he thinks it can be as low as 20% in winter. Also, 4 months of the year the humidity is probably about the same as outdoors (zone 6a iirc). BTW, I did buy some dwarf Meyer Lemon trees....See Moretapla (mid-Michigan, USDA z5b-6a)
