I've had a small Ficus Elastica 'Burgandy' for about a year now, and it seems to be pretty happy. When I first got it, the leaves were a very dark colour and the leaf sheaths were an intense red. How can I get back this colour?
Currently the plant is right up against a north facing window (pictures show the most amount of sun that it gets nowadays since it's winter and the weather is very gloomy). The potting mix is well draining and since growth has slowed right down I've scaled back watering to about once every 2 weeks/when soil is dry. I haven't fertilised, but I there are some slow release fertiliser pellets in the soli mix.
I'm planning to separate the 3 stems come spring and attempt a repot if necessary.
Thanks in advance for the help!
