Hub's Birthday Stacked Plate Cake
Comments (9)YA'LLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! The point is serving cake on THE STACKED PLATES! I learned it here on the forum from you!!!! You can have one in 5 minutes (cake not included) if you have the plates, candle holders, skinny vases. Ya'll saw chocolate and forgot how we can live larger for less. We are blessed. Our guests will think we are THE ACE OF CAKES if we use our stacked plates this way. Am I standing here with toilet paper stuck to my shoe again????? Have ya'll been making cakes forever and stacking them on the stacked plates????? OMG (grimmiced the newbie who just fell off the turnip truck). OK-OK-OK "Let them eat cake!" I'll just go off somewhere and invent the wheel. What's that you say??? Been there, done that????? LOLOLOLOL That's a good one! I never heard that before. Comments (32)The blog is interesting, thanks for the link. As for the "let them eat cake" show homes; eh. I had to chuckle when I read that "They werenÂt as over-the-top as usualÂthey actually showed some restraint, almost as if they were reflecting the current economy". "Almost as if". Why, it's almost as if I feel sorry for the short sided builders whose "ginormous" houses featured at the Cincinnati Home-a-Rama still haven't sold. Almost. ;^) As far as the exterior goes, I'd say the last one was the easiest on the eyes, then probably that Nantucket jigsaw puzzle. I thought the others were predictable and boring, except for that "Tudor-style" with the modern windows; that one reminded me of some late 1980's strip mall office space. :^P...See Morelol, GS's litle sister won't let them eat my bunny cake :o)

Comments (2)No problem. I tend to agree with you. When I moved out here, it was a HUGE adjustment to realize that I couldn't just buy the type of house I'd like (which isn't "grand" by any means). I couldn't resist mentioning the Bay Area thing! My house isn't the one I'd imagined owning one day, but I am managing to find some style in it....See Morel pinkmountain
