Have you had a scaevola successfully regrow after severe pruning?
Comments (5)Thank you all for your replies---they are encouraging, and I can breath a sigh of relief! The plant got a good dose of rain water tonight, which I hope it appreciated! :-) Thanks again! Lois...See MoreDo you have any of the same plants you had in the beginning?
Comments (28)Sorta comes down to how long of a "beginning" one is considering, for me. My very first 2 orchids are long gone. One was a NOID den that eventually died, and the other was a NOID phal that I sold or gave away at some point. I do still have 2 divisions of a NOID miniden (which is planted in wet peat in a bog terr) I bought at Lowes yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaars back when the BBS carried them frequently. That purchase was a year or two after that of the phal and den mentioned previously. All predated the first time I attended an OS meeting or even knew of events like orchid shows. :) W/ the exception of the aforementioned miniden, my oldest plants [if I stretch "beginning" to include my first orchid show] would be a Pot Hoku Gem 'Superspots' and Blc Blazing Treat. Both of which I've had for probably ten or more years now....See Moreseveral more photos I took today

LINDA;Thank you, the photo of Ebb Tide is much lighter in color then it really is, for some reason. Its a very dark purple rose, and will be until hot summer gets here, then it shows more redish color in hot weather. Rita;Thank you.Be.linda's Dream is really showing its stuff right now, putting out many perfect blooms. jean...See MoreNever have I had this many blooms in December!
Comments (2)Beautiful sight and so cheerful! Here along the shoreline it's been a warm December without many bitter cold days to slow things down. I've seen some strange sights, too, in my garden. Last week I found a small white annual alyssum blooming between two evergreens. It's been two years since I planted alyssum in that spot so this must be some hardy seed that suddenly germinated. Now this week my pansies are blooming! Molie...See Moremantis__oh
