Hi Carol, I can't tell what that garment is, but if it's not too important, it could be taken apart, and the fabric used for parts of the dress. There are lots of colors choices in it for a contrast fabric. Do you know how old it is? What store did you find it in? Maybe someone here has access to the same store and could check for you. Linda

I think that is Podocarpus macrophyllus rather than P. gracilior. P. macrophyllus is more frequently seen in shrub form.

thanks for the follow up ... you might research propagation .. and if it is rather simple ... you might start a couple little cuttings in the next few weeks ... to take indoors for winter .. if you have the space and inclination to mess around with them .... i would not take the giant pots indoors .... and i would sterilize any potting soil first ... trust me when i say.. you dont want to take bugs in the house for winter ... prevention is much easier than cure ... ken
