Call or E-Mail Toro. I just bought a new one (Personal Pace 22") and the bag kept falling off. I even tripped on it once. I contacted Toro and they responded saying they were sending me a new bag frame. Looks like it may be too short and falling out of the plastic V-Hooks?? When I get the new bag, I'll post again! From past experience with Toro, the products are good, however they do a poor job of product recalls and responsibility for any recalls.

I put my hands on the products and years of experience tell me a lot. I can "feel" the difference between a quality marble and a more porous, less quality marble. It's about density. I lift it up to the light and look for fissures that weren't otherwise as apparent (another indication of density - with a softer body it is harder to see until lit from behind). I also look at clarity. All marble contains iron deposits that can yellow/oxidize over time, some more than others. Moisture can exasperate this process. What's the substrate? Shouldn't generally be an issue for a fireplace if the proper backer board and approved methods are used. If I approved the marble selection I'd probably use Laticrete 4XLT over the substrate (not a foam backer board) and I would use an appropriate grout joint and wait a few days for the the setting materials to cure before I grouted so as not to trap moisture (I'd probably use Laticrete Select grout, but other unsanded grouts are approved and a pro has his or her preference). Now, as for quality differences in products from various suppliers. Yes, that is a real thing. Mining varies and processing varies and "made in China" can have an impact in my experience. But that's why you hire a qualified tile contractor who can guide you. And yes, use only appropriate cleaning materials for marble once installed.

In my building this can be either a sudden burst or a slow leak. Units above you can have some kind of leak - either an overflowing toilet or sink OR some kind of slower leak from their fixtures - e.g, a leak in the shower or the pipes. My crazy neighbor who lived on the 12th floor decided to DIY some kind of plastic hosing and created a flood that went down to the lobby. I was below and to one side so only one wall in my unit got slightly damp but a section of the dry wall had to be replaced. When the wall was opened up, it turned out that the exposed pipes (which belonged to the buliding) were in bad shape so the building decided to repair that section of the pipes so they wouldn't have an issue inevitably down the line. I handled it through my insurance company and the building paid for the new pipes plus the larger section of drywall which had to be taken down to fully access the pipes. My insurance company paid for my damages - less my deductible - and then did a subrogation claim against the other homeowner. Since the damages he caused were literally in the millions of dollars and he had not much insurance, there wasn't a pot left to divide so I wound up "eating" my deductible. You should contact the management company because responsibility for fixing the damage AND correcting the issue depends on what the cause is. Issues caused by another homeowner are the resposibiity of the homeowner and YOU are responsible for issues that are inside the four walls of your unit.
