Comments (6)I dont live 12 floors up,so living on the ground is much different growing conditions, ya think??? He did give me hints,for growing them on a patio 12 floors up. But I thought this was an OPEN forum, and ASKING advise was allowed....my mistake. Guess you run it.? Not sitting around on my hands,and being 'patient' got me some nice rooted cuttings,at a very low price. I grow many slow growing, and slow blooming plants, all over my yard. Comments (15)It would have been better to plant it in 50/50 soil mix. Really Sandy soil will not retain much fertilizer. Most of it will leech right through. It needs fertilizer to get bigger. 6-6-6 fertilizer is one of the cheaper fertilizer to use. Comments (7)Humidity usually drops as temperature rises, and conversely it rises as temperature drops. That's why I mentioned it earlier on, plants have to cope with the extremes. Personally I'd wait for the weak part to completely dry up before cutting it off. Some people don't like seeing what doesn't look good and are quick to cut off the offending parts.
