Who buys lesportsac bags? I never see anyone
Comments (11)Thanks, you all. amy, I searched for your Tokidoki bag and couldn't find it -- wow, incredible you were able to find one that wasn't Grand Central manga on the outside! terri, I don't know if slugs are such a big thing where you are down south, but they're ubiquitous, unfortunately, up here. They're not quite as interesting a design concept as snails in a shell, though :) lisa, LOL about the grey. That's kind of what I think too -- I remember black and red and grey. Very chic bag you're carrying now, though :) Seriously it seems like all the chic stuff for kids came out *just* after I was done with whatever phase with DD. I counted myself lucky just to have a non pastel print diaper bag at all -- it was black and I felt so non-babies-r-us : jyyanks -- hmmm...I do wonder if this one is cute only to me and completely weird to everyone else, but at least the woman who blogged about it seemed to like it at the time... pammyfay, yes, that's more like what I think of when I think of lesportsac -- functional stuff for travel. But I saw last night that Stella McCartney has done lines for it, also the Tokidoki guy, and others...they must be trying to update their image. So hm, maybe I'll go over and see what shape squirrel bag works. I was drawn to the hobo-type thing but I hope it's big enough. Not the big everyday bag, right Amy? In squirrel terms it would be like having really big cheek pouches filled with nuts? :)...See MoreSomething I never thought I'd see -- granite in my kitchen
Comments (3)I just tried to take pictures, but, while I have granite, I do not have lights! Just as I walked into the kitchen, the sky turned pitch black and it started pouring. Not enough light to get a good picture. Darn. Poor DH. By the time he gets home, he probably won't be able to see the granite at all. I'm not usually home during the day, but I had to take a class this morning, so I decided to work at home this afternoon. Haven't gotten much work done. I've been staring at my granite all afternoon!...See MoreDo you like or hate your 4-foot-wide island? Can I see a picture?
Comments (46)My island is 9' X 5' all counter height I love it. Sorry, I do not know how to post photos. But others' photos give you the picture. I have seating on one 9' side, and the sink on the other. I have plenty of walk space all around and it is open to the family room. The TV is visible from the sink. It is the hub of my home. The disposal switch is inside the sink cabinet. Yes, the kids tend to throw everything on the island and it is the landing spot for groceries, so I have to be diligent about making sure it stays tidy. It is a gorgeous showstopper so I wouldn't change a thing....See MoreI Never Thought I'd See The Day...Glow In The Dark Sanseveria
Comments (27)Holy crap! I got a 12 inch Sansevieria "Black Coral" and a 3" Dracaena fragrans "Twist" or something like that for less than 8 dollars today, total. 15 dollars for one plant. I may just faint. well, unless it's some really cool Haworthia or something. Or has gold hidden inside....See MoreLove Trees
