I used a similar green in my last house. The pics I'm posting are from 2007. At our new place, the model house has a lot of green on the walls; they also used reds. Not sure if they have it linked on their site - will look. Our comforter has a lot of nice neutral colors in it; you can see the green in this pic. Hopefully this will give you ideas because I used a lot of neutrals like your chair covers. Also go over to JC Penney's site - look at their tab tops & comforter sets. Looking at the comforters always gives me inspiration with colors. Also, paint a small piece of trim & take it with you to Depot or Lowes to grab some paint samples to bring home. Bathroom - the green on the walls is lighter then yours, the trim is close - used blues; sages & creams This room the green is on the window trim - the wall color had a hint of green Here, the green again on the trim - the walls were a custom color we made called French Bread

bebe-3 - Sorry, I'm just seeing your question. I've been trying to come up with my own color, as Limonata is WAY too bright! A quart of white paint later, it's finally looking better. Anyways- The aqua color on my 13 year old's room is a shade by Olympic (Lowes) called Aqua Chiffon A58-3. I took the paint chip to Sherwin Williams & they color matched it in their Supreme Satin finish. It's a great color - Don't let the Chiffon name full ya - it's bright enough for my teen, but not too bad that it sent Mom in a panic! LOL persnickety- thanks for the suggestions! I would: 1. paint the stained window trim white to match the res of the window. 2. Find a top treatment or make one in which the main accent color of the fabric is the tomato red color... trying to find a fabric with the other colors that are in your prints (really cool-- like the prints). I see a fabric with the background color being a lighter tone than the mats on your print (same color- just lighter); with the sage green in the word "tortellini" in your prints; the buttery-white color of the onions; the tomato red, and other colors found in the print would work also (as long as you pick-up on those colors). 3. I would put the flour canisters away since they really don't go with anything in your kitchen and add some tomato red accents on your counter. 4. I would paint the walls an off-white with a lot of yellow tone to it. Or maybe take your "tortellini" print in to paint store, have them color match the mat, and then add the colorant at about 25% of that formula to avoid a matchy look, yet still have it coordinate.

What color did you paint the walls? For walls or for bedding, I'd go with ivory or light beige, being careful it doesn't look yellow, not stark white. White might make the black furniture look harsher. Even though apple pie always has very good advice.
