Donna Pacer got all gussied up yesterday for her first cruise of the season.

Gazania, that car is a real treasure!! :) She sure is aging gracefully!!

Mine is a tourist I met in Sandpoint, Idaho a number of years ago.

Donna is a beauty. She shows the care that she's been given. My son would have given a lot to own Donna when he was 16. Back then I couldn't believe that a teenager would want a Pacer, but he did, never was able to find one in good enough condition to buy tho. He now owns a Honda Element, at 47, he still is doing his own thing.

murraysmom and mare-wbpa, thank you for noticing Donna Pacer's loveliness. Actually she gets a lot of attention at cruises and car shows. Dozens of Cameros, Mustangs, Gto"s , the so called muscle cars of 30/40 years ago surround her. But Donna stands out as unique and the only one there of her kind. My DH has always had a 'thing' for Pacers, and as it happens, I grew up next door to the girl who became the wife of the man who designed the Pacer and several other noted vehicles in the 1960's/70's, Dick Teague.

Gazania, I didn't know anything about Richard Teague before you just told us, but I looked him up and he was an extraordinary guy! So interesting and a subject I know absolutely nothing about. It's funny how something like a car, an everyday item, could have such an interesting and crazy kind of existence. I don't think I will look at another car in the same way ever again. Of course I knew people designed cars, but I never knew what all went into that process. Fascinating. And to think your cute little Pacer started it all for me. Thanks.
