Comments (3)thanks for the replies guys! :) I don't think so tho..not the right foliage for bearded irises or Siberian, tho it is more like Siberian, yet not quite, lol. The irises in my area arent blooming yet, and the clumps dont have iris lookin tubers. Actually..I don't think they even had tubers? I'm gonna have to lift them tomorrow and take another look..I only remember the white bottom of the scapes and roots. OK yeah..I will lift them tomorrow, take another look, take some pix, and be back with more info. Maybe then you guys can help me some more? I really appreciate it :) ps..I was already out there several times today looking saying..you guessed it.."what the heck are these things?" lol. thanks!...See MoreAnyone have a clue to what Tomato this may be?
Comments (4)I would suggest you google up the search terms "yellow pear", "yellow plum" and "yellow egg" combined with the word "tomato" and see if the names or descriptions of any of the tomatoes that come up ring you a bell from your conversations with your colleague. Being able to just ask would be best. I don't think it will be possible to identify your tomato until you can post pictures of several of them (that little depression and the irregular shape of your tomato indicate to me that this tomato doesn't represent its kind that well--maybe the plant has some kind of condition, like underwatering?). You could already describe the size, habit, leaf type, etc., of your tomato plant, and possibly post a picture as well. If you also summarize how you have been taking care of it (sowing/planting dates, watering, pruning, etc.), even better. The more information you provide, the better the chances you find out just what tomato you have there....See Morefloral_uk z.8/9 SW UK
