Tractor advice for new property

Eric C

I am moving from a half acre property to an old farm house in Harper's Ferry WV with at least 2.5 acres. I am currently running a JD X300 for mowing in the old house. With the new house, I will have a lot more grass to mow with many trees to go around. It also has a long gravel driveway. I am struggling with the best equipment for my needs, which are:

Mowing

Plowing the driveway which is a good 150 yards. It is a very flat driveway, gravel.

Possibly tilling for a large garden, though I can rent for this.

Here are the options I have come up with:

Buy a Zero turn. The property owner of the new place has an awesome Kubota zero for sale, which is brand new, for about $1500 off list price. It has only been used this year, about 5 times. This would not help me with the plowing.

Put a plow on my old F250 pickup and try to keep the old X300 for mowing.

Buy a JD 500 series with 4-wheel steering. Add a blade for pushing snow.

Buy a four-wheel drive tractor like a X738. Not sure if I can afford this option of not. Also not sure if I need 4WD to plow snow.

I am open to other makes, I just know a little more about JD so I used these models as reference.

Thanks in advance.
