Comments (2)I visited last year and made lots of pictures, including some of the conifers. They have a lot of dwarfs, which seems to be my interest lately. The Cryptomeria 'Tansu' was surprisingly big. They even had a couple Ephedras too. I also liked the 'Sea Urchin' white pine. The garden has a lot of great plant material. They have even flowered the Titan Arum(Amorphophallus titanum) twice, which is amazing!...See MoreChihuly in the Garden
Comments (9)Oh Vikki, I absolutely love Dale Chihuly's work and I have to say he IS my favorite glass artist. I've seen a couple of his specials on T.V. in the past and when they were on I warned everybody if you value your life there had better be no interruptions until it's over. His work is absolutely awesome, it's amazing watching how his crew puts together the exhibits. Some of those chandeliers and that hall floor, I can't remember if it was a glass or plexiglas floor that covered all those sea anemone like creatures, it was so totally awesome. Colored glass really is one of my favorite things. We have a beautiful piece of glass given to us for for our 50th last year. Our son was in Venice last year on holiday and they picked it up there. We are so spoiled. A far cry from the swirly pink glass vase I picked up at a garage sale on saturday. I guess it shows just how much I love colored glass LOL. Thanks for sharing the pix's I know I'll be going back to view them a few more times. Annette...See MoreAtlanta Botanical Gardens
