Succulent Newbie in Need of Advice

Hi there!
I've loved succulents for ages and finally decided to start a collection. The only thing is, I'm at a loss as to how to best care for them. One of the first ones I got, I've already over watered and got it full of fungus gnats. I'm trying to take care of that now.

I have since been gifted with a beautiful arrangement and I really don't want to make the same mistakes again. I know that arrangements will often have plants put in for looks with no attention to the needs of the individual plants. Already, there's a mix of succulents and what I believe is ivy, grass, and some other things. I know I want to remove the ivy since it's prone to spider mites, and the container needs more drainage holes. I think I need to change out the soil as well, but I don't know to what.. I'm not sure what else I should do beyond that.

Here is a photo of the complete arrangement:

So my questions are:

- Should I completely change the soil? (see last photo)

- Should I separate the succulents from the non-succulents?

- Can anyone identify any of these plants?

- What is your advice in terms of watering and sunlight?

Here are some more close up shots of the different plants:

1 - Ivy, a succulent (echevaria?), and something else (spotted leaves)...

2-Two unknown succulents

3 - Perhaps an aeonium?

4 - Another echevaria, maybe?

5 -This resembles rosemary

6 - No idea

7 -Tall with long, slender leaves

8 -Soil that the plants are currently living in

Thanks so much for your help!
